exhibition in Jerusalem museum

Urban clothing designer Maya Bash, in collaboration with visual

artist Zoya Cherkassky, created unique patterns based on the

people wearing the Maya Bash designs on the streets of Tel Aviv.

The visuals were printed onto fabric and made into designer’s

ironic weary retrospective.

Bash’s minimalist designs play a significant role in the

Israeli fashion scene, as her signature style is characterized

by gender-neutral oversize cuts, finest Japanese fabrics and

local Israeli production. The designer constantly challenges

her customers by unconventional and intricate design.

This time, Bash created a limited collection featuring a huge

grotesque label that introduces a unique story of each

garment: from designer’s inspirations to fabric source and real

professionals involved in the creation of your designer outfit.

This bold step, which is in line with the spirit of transparency

in the fashion world, has generated a wide media echo.
